The Guide: Mattress Makers in New Jersey and Nearby: Factory-Direct Mattress Factories
How to Use This Guide
This page lists businesses that build mattresses themselves and say so on their own websites: a factory, a plant, or a workshop at an address they name. It starts with the makers in New Jersey that sell to the public from a showroom or factory store, then the makers in New Jersey that sell through retailers, then the makers in New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut within a drive of central New Jersey.
Every cell in the tables is taken from the maker’s own website, in its own words, in October 2026. Where a site does not state something — a founding year, a return policy, a delivery area — the cell says Not published. Nothing here comes from a directory, a review site or a press article, and nothing here measures how good a mattress is.
A mattress store that sells other companies’ mattresses is not on this page, however it describes itself. A company that designs a mattress and has it built elsewhere is not on this page. A brand whose factory address is not published is not on this page. If you want to see where a mattress is made before you buy it, the showroom column tells you which makers let you do that.
About This Guide
This guide is produced by Garden State Circle. Mattress makers appear here because they meet the criteria described above — a business whose own website states that it builds its mattresses at a location it names, with a published street address, in New Jersey or within a drive of it. That is a test, not a judgment, and it is the only route onto this page. No business can pay to be included in this guide, to be listed higher, or to change what the table says about it. Businesses are listed alphabetically in the New Jersey tables and by state and town in the third, and every detail in the tables was verified against each business’s own website in October 2026.
Everything under the heading that begins this guide is governed by the rules above, on every guide we publish. Garden State Circle is supported by the businesses that participate in it. Participation pays for our ongoing work: keeping a business’s entry accurate, re-checking its record, and publishing a page of its own details that the business maintains. There is no paid placement in this guide. Participation does not buy a place here, a position here, or anything the comparison table says. Where a row carries a verification date, that is when we last checked that business’s record ourselves. A row without one has not been checked recently — that is a fact about our work, not about the business.

Common Questions
What counts as a mattress maker on this page?
A business whose own website says it builds its mattresses at a place it names — a factory, a plant, the back of its own store. A store that sells mattresses made by someone else is not a maker, and neither is a brand that designs a mattress and has a contract factory build it. A company that only makes foam or latex for other makers is not here either.
Why do some makers have no showroom listed?
They sell through retailers or to other businesses. Their own sites route buyers to dealers, hotels or private-label clients rather than to a store of their own. The second table holds the New Jersey makers that work this way; the cell says so wherever it applies in the third table.
Can I see the factory before I buy?
Some makers invite it and say so on their sites — Restopedic writes that the factory can be seen from its showroom, and Shovlin builds in the back of its store. Others keep the factory and the showroom at different addresses. The showroom column prints what each site says; call before you drive.
Are makers outside New Jersey on this page?
Yes. Makers in New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut within roughly 150 road miles of Somerville sit in their own table, after the New Jersey makers, sorted by state and town, with no distance printed.
Does being on this page mean the mattress is good?
No. A website tells you what a business says it makes, not how well it makes it. Nothing on this page measures quality, and no business was asked to prove any claim. Ask to see the factory, ask what is inside the mattress, and read the return policy before you pay.

Something out of date?
This guide is maintained. If anything here is wrong or has changed — a name, an address, a showroom, or whether a maker has closed — tell us and we will check it. Businesses listed here are welcome to write in directly.
If you build mattresses at a published address in New Jersey or nearby and are not listed here, email us and we will check your site. There is no charge for a correction or an addition, and it applies whether or not a business participates in Garden State Circle.
