THE GUIDE: PLUMBERS IN DENVILLE, MOUNTAIN LAKES AND BOONTON TOWNSHIP, NJ

How We Selected These Plumbers

We looked for plumbers who hold an active New Jersey Master Plumber license with the Division of Consumer Affairs and who perform work for homeowners in Mountain Lakes, Denville and Boonton Township. Plumbers travel to the job rather than working from a storefront and are not gated on having an office in these towns, so a company was included on a stated service area naming one of these towns, or naming Morris County among the areas it serves — the basis on which Service Professionals, Sidekick Plumbing and Zeek Plumbing & Heating are on this page.

What This Market Looks Like

All three plumbers in this guide publish a license number that resolves to an active New Jersey Master Plumber record. None has its own premises inside Denville, Mountain Lakes or Boonton Township; each reaches this market on a stated service area rather than a local storefront. A thin roster is not a gap in our research — it is what a wider 25-mile search of each company’s own website actually turned up naming these towns with a verifiable license behind it.

How to Read the License Column

Each row’s license cell is checked directly against the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs’ Master Plumber register. “Active” means the register shows a current, unexpired Master Plumber license under the name listed. “Not found by us” means the number or name a business publishes could not be matched to an active record in the register — that is a fact about what we could verify, not an accusation that the business is unlicensed. A license can lapse, renew or transfer between filings; we print what we found on the date stated.

About This Guide

This guide is produced by Garden State Circle. Plumbers appear here because they meet the criteria described above — holding an active New Jersey Master Plumber license and performing work in these towns. That is a test, not a judgment, and it is the only route onto this page. No business can pay to be included in this guide, to be listed higher, or to change what the comparison table says about it. Businesses are listed alphabetically, and every detail in the table was verified against each business’s own website and the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs in September 2026.

Everything under the heading that begins this guide is governed by the rules above, on every guide we publish. Where a sponsor’s message appears above that heading, it is paid for and labelled, and it buys nothing in the guide. Garden State Circle is supported by the businesses that participate in it. Participation pays for our ongoing work: keeping a business’s entry accurate, re-checking its record, and publishing a page of its own details that the business maintains. There is no paid placement in this guide. Participation does not buy a place here, a position here, or anything the comparison table says. Where a row carries a verification date, that is when we last checked that business’s record ourselves. A row without one has not been checked recently — that is a fact about our work, not about the business.

Garden State Circle is published in New Jersey by Jake Slowinski and Tiffany Slowinski, and covers Mountain Lakes, Denville and Boonton Township. Contact the publisher at jake@gardenstatecircle.com. How every guide is made, in one place: how every guide is made.

Common Questions

Does a plumber need to have an office in Denville, Mountain Lakes or Boonton Township to be on this page?

No. Plumbers travel to the job rather than working from a storefront, so this page includes companies whose own website names one of these towns, or names Morris County among the areas served, whether or not their premises sit inside it.

What does a Master Plumber license cover?

It is the New Jersey credential the Division of Consumer Affairs issues to a named individual who has met the state’s plumbing licensing requirements. A company can hold the license in its own name only through a named holder, and the record we publish is that holder’s name, license number, status and the date we checked it.

How do you verify each plumber’s license number?

We check the number each business publishes directly against the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs’ Master Plumber register, by license number where one is published. A short-form number is printed with a holder name only where both the holder’s name and town match the business; otherwise we print the number and its status and leave the holder unstated. Where a published number does not match an active record under a matching name, we print the neutral form “Not found by us” rather than guess.

Does a plumbing company have to disclose when it subcontracts work?

Under New Jersey advertising rules for this trade (N.J.A.C. 13:32-3.1(e)), a business that has more than a third of a year’s work performed by subcontractors must say so in its advertising. We do not know which of the businesses on this page do; a company’s silence on the point is not evidence either way, and it is not something our table tracks.

How is the Emergency Service column built?

From what each business publishes about itself, in its own words — never from a phone call or a guess. Where a business publishes nothing on the point, the cell reads “Not stated on their own site.”

Who Governs Plumbing Work in Mountain Lakes, Denville and Boonton Township, NJ

A plumber’s license to work anywhere in New Jersey is issued by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, Board of Examiners of Master Plumbers — that is the credential checked in the table above. A permit for the plumbing work itself is issued locally, under the Plumbing Subcode of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, by each municipality’s own construction office.

Something to Correct?

A license can lapse or renew, a business can close, a phone number or address can change, and a company we could not find can publish a new website. If anything above is wrong, email admin@gardenstatecircle.com and we will check it and fix it. There is no charge for a correction, and it applies whether or not a business participates in Garden State Circle.

If you are a plumber serving Denville, Mountain Lakes or Boonton Township and you are not listed here, email us at the same address. We will add you once we confirm an active New Jersey Master Plumber license.
