Garden State Circle is supported by the businesses that partner with us, and Magnolia Home Remodeling Group, Union is an authority partner. We interviewed Vic Fiore, who leads the company, about the replacement window questions homeowners here actually ask. The partnership pays for the reporting; it does not decide the answers. Most of the numbers below are not published anywhere else.
Replacement-window pricing looks simple until you ask one basic question.

What window are we actually talking about?
Vic Fiore, owner of Magnolia Home Remodeling Group in Union, says the installed price changes by product line, window style, size and whether additional trim work is needed.
The clearest example is the Andersen 200 series.
Andersen 200 series windows run $1,400–$1,700 per unit installed on Magnolia’s jobs in 2026.
Fiore says the range depends on the style of window and whether trim needs to be installed.
The other current ranges
Vinyl replacement windows run $750–$1,250 per unit on Magnolia’s jobs in 2026.
That range comes from Magnolia’s Sept. 2 interview and was not re-confirmed on Oct. 6.
Andersen 400 series windows run $1,500–$2,000 per unit on Magnolia’s jobs in 2026.
That range also comes from Magnolia’s Sept. 2 interview.
The point is not to treat those numbers as interchangeable.
Different product lines solve different problems and come with different material costs.
Standard size vs. custom fit
Fiore says a custom-fit window costs more on the window itself.
A standard-size window can save on the unit but may require more trim work around it.
That is why homeowners should look at the installed number, not just the price of a window they found online.
The opening matters. The trim matters. The product matters. And the existing condition of the house matters.
What happens after the homeowner signs
The window process starts with another round of measurements.
At the walkthrough, the installer measures every opening.
Magnolia quotes brands including Andersen, Pella, Marvin and Harvey.
Once the measurements are confirmed, the manufacturer quote and product specifications are reviewed with the homeowner.
Then the windows are ordered.
Lead time is typically three to six weeks, depending on the product.
That lead time begins after the order is finalized, not from the first estimate.
Why the measurements happen again
Windows need to fit the actual opening.
The initial sales visit gets the project priced. The walkthrough gets the final openings measured. Magnolia’s installers measure every opening again at the walkthrough, so the windows are ordered to fit the actual openings, not the estimate.
That is also when style and trim requirements can be confirmed.
For an Andersen 200 series window, the updated range is $1,400–$1,700 per unit installed on Magnolia’s jobs in 2026.
The exact number depends on the window style and trim requirements.
What installation day looks like
Magnolia typically uses a two-person window crew.
Only one or two openings are removed at a time.
That matters because the house is not left with every window open at once.
The work moves opening by opening.
Most window replacements are straightforward.
Fiore says hidden issues such as rotted frames, bad sills or flashing problems come up rarely, once in a while.
If something is uncovered, the homeowner needs to understand what was found before additional work is added.
That is consistent with Magnolia’s larger project process: document the condition, explain the change and get approval before moving beyond the written scope.
What homeowners should compare
Do not compare window quotes only by unit price.
Compare:
- The product line
- The window style
- Whether the unit is standard or custom fit
- What trim work is included
- What the installed price includes
- The expected lead time
- How hidden conditions around the opening are handled
That is where two numbers that look very different on paper may start to make sense.
Pricing ranges in this article are Magnolia Home Remodeling Group’s 2026 estimates for its own jobs. Actual pricing depends on the scope, products, site conditions and selections. A written proposal governs the final scope and price.
